RIT ERPAI Integration Contribution
Contributing AI capabilities to the enterprise resource planning system of Ramco Institute of Technology.
On attributionI didn't build the ERP, design its architecture or create its modules. It's a larger institutional platform; my contribution is on the AI integration side.
01 Overview: An existing platform, a new AI layer
RIT ERP is the enterprise resource planning system of Ramco Institute of Technology. Its public site describes it as the institution's academic management portal, with student, faculty and parent logins covering courses, examinations, attendance and fees.
I contributed to AI integration within this ERP ecosystem.
02 Context: Working inside real software
This is different from a personal project. The ERP already exists, is used by the institution, and has its own architecture, conventions and team.
Integrating AI into it means fitting new capabilities into a working system rather than starting from an empty repository.
03 Contribution: Where my part fits
My role was AI Integration Contributor: working on integrating AI capabilities into the institution's ERP ecosystem.
04 What It Taught Me: Integration is its own skill
Building a model or a feature on its own is one problem. Making it work inside a platform that other people depend on is another.
This is where my AI background meets practical software integration: understanding an existing system well enough to extend it responsibly.
